Coming Soon – Important for children who do not attend Carstairs Primary School- Carstairs & District Gala shall be holding the election of the 2026 Gala Court very soon. This shall be held in Carstairs Village Primary School. All children of Primary 7 age who attend Carstairs Village Primary School shall be eligible for the election. Any children of Primary 7 age who live in Carstairs Village and within the Carstairs & District Gala boundaries but do not attend the school then please contact Gala Secretary Jillian MacConnell should you wish to take part in the 2026 Gala Court. 17th May – Saturday – Doors open 7:00 pm in Community Centre, Gala Dance (Adults only event), please come along and enjoy a fantastic evening, tickets are £10 and available from any committee member or contact Gala Secretary Jillian MacConnell. Entertainment by Jackson City, bar , raffle and hidden football team board, ticket price includes light pizza buffet.
25th Apr – Friday Doors open – 6:00 pm in Community Centre, Gala Bingo Night & Raffle Fund Raiser (Adults & Children welcome), please come along and enjoy a fantastic evening, pay on entry, Eyes Down – 6:30pm. Bingo books priced 1 book £1, 3 books £2.50, 6 books £5.00. Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are included. Entry fee adults £1, kids 50p. (Please note the date has been changed from Saturday 26th to Friday 25th).
22nd Feb Saturday – 7:30 pm in Community Centre, Hypnotist / Disco Event with Richard Nelson (Adults Only Fund Raiser), a fantastic evening thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, a big thanks to Rachel and the committee for organising a fab night, approx £1000 raised on the evening.

8th February Saturday – 10 am till 5 pm, Gala Court Children & Committee Fund Raising Sponsored cycle event held in Tesco Superstore Lanark, well done to everyone involved, both gala court children and adults did superbly well having a great day and raised £1077 for the gala funds. A big thanks to Rebecca for running the day and to Tesco for allowing us the facility and use of their premises to run the event. A big thanks to Harry Smith Centre staff for the use of the static cycles.
8th February Saturday – 10 am till 5 pm, Gala Court Children & Committee Fund Raising Sponsored cycle event held in Tesco Superstore Lanark, donation buckets will be available, please come along and support your local Gala.
